TRISHA was born on May 4th, 1983 to father Krishnan, and mother Uma in Palakkad, Kerala. She first ventured into modelling and later got offers and joined films. Trisha, the ace actress known for her light brown eyes and glorious smile was actually a BBA graduate from Ethiraj College. She was crowned as Miss Chennai in the year 2000. Her career started of low, from Jodi (guest appearance), Lesa Lesa (first as the role of heroine), Manasellam, Mounam Pesiyadhe, Alai and afterwards her road to success began.With Saamy, starring opposite Vikram, being a Blockbuster she was catapulted to fame and her fanbase started to grow rapidly. Till date, she has starred opposite almost all major young and top heroes of South India. As media describes her the Queen Bee of Tamil and Telugu Cinema. KRISHNA THE NEW FILM Raviteja, Trisha

Lead actor Ravi Teja and director V.V.Vinayak, along with other cast and crew members of the film Krishna- the power of Indrakeeladri, were present at the press meet of the film held at Prasad Labs, today. 12th January was announced as the film's release date.

"It was great fun working in the direction of Vinayak", Ravi Teja said "This is the eight movie of mine for which Chakri has given music and it is absolutely great. And it was Chandrabose who penned the lyrics for my first hit song 'Hai Re Hai' from Sindhuram. I am very happy with the way the film has turned out. Chota.K.Naidu's work is also very amazing".

"Indrakeeladri is the holy place on which the goddess Kanaka Durga 's temple is situated" director V.V.Vinayak said " the film is set in Vijayawada. This film will see yet another energetic performance from Ravi Teja. Chakri's music is amazing and so are Chandrabose's lyrics. The response that we are getting for the music is very good".

Music director Chakri was also all praises for both the director and actor saying that he has done his best to impress both the audiences and V.V.Vinayak with his music.
"My wife, worked on one of the song sequences in this film" lyricist Chandrabose said "she was very excited and told me how well the songs have been picturised. It was a pleasure to have written all the songs for this film".

Others present on the occasion were Chota K Naidu, Akula Siva, Kasi Viswanadh and producer Danayya.

Trisha told Moviebuzz on the sets of her Tamil film Aadi (A remake of Anthanokkade) in Chennai: “I have signed Stalin and it was an emotional moment for me. I still can’t believe that I am doing a film with Chiranjeevi gaaru, the mega star of Tollywood”.

Trisha also confirmed that she was always the first choice and Chiranjeevi had spoken to her while she was shooting for a song in Dubai for Allari Bullodu. She also pointed out she had to juggle out dates to accommodate Stalin as her hands are full but is happy that her dream has come true.

Trisha is now eagerly waiting to start shoot on November 17 with Chiranjeevi after heard a story narration from Murugadoss
